New luxury apartments coming to Farmington--Update

Update, December 19, 2023--This project is now underway. SNR recently represented the property owner in closing the construction mortgage financing for this 200 plus unit apartment complex.

 

74-76 Batterson Park Road is currently the site of two large Class A office buildings, adjacent to Camp Courant and directly across the street from Batterson Park Pond. A third office building was approved, but never built.

Last year the Farmington Town Plan and Zoning Commission approved a zone change on the 34 acre site to the Special Innovation Floating Zone, which allows for a mix of commercial and residential uses on one parcel. At the same time the Commission approved a 204 unit luxury apartment building with one, two and three bedroom units. Amenities will include a clubhouse, fitness center, game room, dog walking and washing facilities, and a swimming pool.

The owner of the site recently sold the rights to construct and operate the apartment building, and the new owner expects to break ground this summer. SNR represented the purchaser in this transaction.
