SNR client purchases wedding and banquet facility in Wolcott

CJC Realty, LLC, the real estate affiliate of the Chabot Hospitality Group, has purchased the former Mahan's Lakeview Fine Catering Center in Wolcott.


The facility, which will reopen this spring as High Point Gardens, includes a function hall, ballroom, dining room and a 280 seat chapel. The new owners will offer the facility for weddings, showers, corporate and social events.


The Chabot Hospitality Group operates reception and catering facilities in Farmington, Avon, Stratford and Southbury, including Farmington Gardens and The North House.

Attorney Bob Reeve and paralegal Sue Anderson of SNR represented the Chabot family and their businesses in this transaction, which included the sale of an industrial property in Naugatuck as part of an IRS section 1031 like kind exchange.
